Seig Heil

McCain campaign rallies have taken a decidedly violent turn this week as McShame supporters have verbally attacked Obama with shout outs such as, "Kill him", "Terrorist", and "Off with his head".

Somebody must have added a double scoop of "hate" and an extra shot of "crazy" when they mixed the latest batch of Republican Kool-Aid. I realize these people are off their rockers (no offense, McCain) to begin with, but the Republican propaganda media sleaze machine has stepped it up a notch this week, desperately digging up the skeletal remains of dead horses William Ayers and Reverend Wright, for one last flogging. Newsflash: There's no glue there "guys and gals", it just wont' stick.

It's ugly, it's disingenuous, it's despicable, it's the Republican way. And instead of repudiating these people who shout out this hate at their rallies, McCain and Palin allow it to go unanswered, unchallenged, thereby condoning it through their inaction.

Let's take a look at this for a minute. Shouldn't this be a Secret Service issue? People are calling a United States Senator and the likely next President of the United States a "terrorist" and calling for his murder. Is this something that should be encouraged? To be taken lightly? I think it goes without saying that when protesters shout down Duh and call him a war criminal or a terrorist, they are arrested and investigated. And if someone was to actually say "kill him"? It's safe to say we'd never see or hear from that person again, in our newly Habeus Corpus free America.

So why the double standard? Why aren't these hate mongers being taken seriously and treated as potential threats? Is this what we have to look forward to for the next eight years? A series of assassination attempts by evolutionary challenged, racist, morons, who are drunk on Fox "news" propaganda and unable to accept that a "negro" might actually be more intelligent than them?

What a wonderful world.
