What Happens When Comedians Are Taken Seriously

Even Chris Matthews has had enough of Republican buffoonery. Just because comedian Rush Limbaugh thinks it's cute to call the Democratic Party the "Democrat" Party doesn't mean that it's cute or clever for a Congressman to do it. Imagine if all Congressman started quoting comedians in their talking points. It would be non-stop "I know you are but what am I?" all day long.

Note to GOP "leaders", the era of basking in ignorance ended on January 20. Intelligence is in, spread the word. And please, stop taking your talking points from a comedian. It makes you sound even dumber than he is.
