Can I Call You Joe?

Busy day so real quick. The VP debate. 46% Biden, 21% Palin, 33% Tie. More importantly, among undecided and independent likely voters, Biden won overwhelmingly. I won't bother with a critique or analysis. Suffice to say, Palin did just fine sticking to the points that she had memorized. She did no better and no worse than a teenager on a high school debate team would have done if given 4 weeks of intensive debate prep from some of the world's best speech and debate experts. The fact that she failed to answer 10 different questions does not come as a surprise but is very telling to those who care to listen. I think she summed up the debate quite nicely when she ad-libbed, "How long have I been at this? Like five weeks?"

Isn't that really all you need to know in order to make an informed decision on who to vote for?

But then again, she kept winking at me. And smiling. I think she likes me. So maybe I should vote for her.

It's like the guys who keep going back to Hooter's because they think that because the waitresses flirt with them that they might really have a shot. Sad, but mostly just funny. No, just sad.
