Spreading The Fear

In the following clip, the interviewer goes to great length to try to paint Obama/Biden as Socialist, Communists, even invoking Karl Marx into the conversation. She repeatedly goes back to the "spread the wealth" line of questioning. Biden hammers her pretty good.

But let us just be clear about "spreading the wealth". Contrary to what the desperate, pathetic Republican party and their media shills would have you think, "spreading the wealth" has absolutely nothing to do with Socialism. Instead, what Obama was saying is that we need to give 95% of Americans a tax cut instead of the McCain/Bush plan to keep giving the richest 1% a tax cut at the expense of the 99%.

Apparently, Republicans believe that tax cuts are now a form of Communism. In the best interest of our democratic society, perhaps the Republicans should rescind the tax cut to the wealthiest 1%, because in right wing wacko world, even 1% Communist is way too much Communism.
