The Obama infomercial airs tonight at 8pm. I'm not a conspiracy theorist or anything but I couldn't help thinking that if there was going to be an "October Surprise" then today would be the day.
What better opportunity for the McCain camp to try to throw Obama off message and try to make him look bad than to have some sort of attack or "incident" today, say late afternoon. Force him to go on the air live and discuss the situation or worse yet, cancel the appearance altogether.
Although, like everything else the Republicans have tried recently, this would simply backfire. Chances are, Obama would take to the airwaves, handle the situation perfectly, and coast to an even larger landslide victory.
