Who Won? "That One"

"My friends", it is clear that "that one" won the debate. Out of all the words used during the debate, only two will matter, "that" and "one". What a condescending, undignified, unpresidential way to behave. This "my friends", is what the American voters will remember about this debate. McCain, a tired, cranky, frustrated shell of his former self, referring to another United States Senator, who was standing a mere few feet away, as "that one". Check mate.

This election is over, "my friends". The polls agree. Let's have a look.

CBS snap poll of uncommitted voters:

Who won?

McCain (R) 27
Obama (D) 39
Draw 35

Will Obama will make the right decisions on the economy?

Before debate: 54
After debate: 68

Will McCain will make the right decisions on the economy?

Before debate: 41
After debate: 49

CNN instapoll:

CNN, MoE 4%:

Who did the best job in the debate?

McCain (R) 30
Obama (D) 54

Opinion of Barack Obama (before debate)

Favorable: 64 (60)
Unfavorable: 34 (38)

Opinion of John McCain (before debate)

Favorable: 51 (51)
Unfavorable: 46 (46)

There you have it, "that one" wins, hands down.

And let me just say, Tom Brokaw was terrible as moderator. Honestly, Yes or No answer, Is Russia once again an Evil Empire? What kind of idiotic question is that? Out of all the questions submitted, Brokaw thought that one was worthy of being asked. Idiot. There was absolutely nothing to be learned or gained from asking that question.

And for those of you who had to take a drink every time McCain said "my friends", that'll teach you. 19 times, "my friends", 19 times! Couldn't he have just winked and showed some cleavage instead?
